I did some research on Eve University. I respect them quite a bit for what they do. I found out that they've had a few *minor* problems with corp-thieves in the past. I thought about offering myself up as an instructor, and presenting a course on theft, scams and infil. That way, any aspiring corp thieves who joined E-UNI wouldn't have to practice on their own corp.
But the problem with that is my reputation. I'm kinda known in Eve Online for making friends with people with the express purpose of taking their stuff. I may well have painted myself into a bit of a corner.
Mind you, I could easily switch identities, become someone else with 100m SP, and enjoy other flavours of Eve... but this Istvaan char feels like *my identity* in Eve.
I guess... (and this might be the worst thing ever to say in C&P...) I guess I'm sick of being a predator. Since 2004, I've played Eve with a grand total of 6-10 people - my trusted GHSC guys. I simply didn't consider anyone outside that inner circle as someone worth knowing, because they were prey. You don't make friends with your Chicken McNuggets.
But now, I have sowed the wind, and reap the whirlwind. No-one in their right mind would trust this username. Even if I gave away my assets and money, people would suspect it's a setup for something bigger I'm planning.
So the options left to me are... keep doing what I do, keep preying on people who CAN NOT STOP ME AT ALL, keep amassing money that... *truly* no longer matters...
Or something else.
What's the something else?
I would be very surprised if Eve Uni actually allowed any sort of class on the darker arts of Eve to be taught. I can attest to the fact that even having an alt that has run scams precludes admission to the Uni as a student. So they would probably never allow you to teach things like corp infiltration and theft.
What's the something else? Frankly, it sounds like you're done playing Eve. Write the book, or, move on to something *gasp* in real life. You're obviously quite talented and innovative and have a knack for knowing who to trust. If you're not living in the house you always wanted, driving the cars you always wanted, why not? I'm not suggesting you go into crime IRL, but, there's tons of money to be made legally using your talents. Or... if you want to be a "Good Guy" and help people, do it IRL instead of in-game.
Just my two cents... *shrug*
Oh and... I can't believe no one has said this yet...
